Chapter 2: Phone Call Flash Back

Naruto’s POV

“Hey Sasuke” I say over the phone. “I think I’m going to have to cancel our breakfast date.” I say truly sadden to have to cancel our date. I loved spending time with my teme.

“And why would you want to do that dobe?” Sasuke replied in his typical cool attitude. But even as he spoke I could hear the small disappointment through his words.

“Teme, you know I would never cancel on you unless it was important. I’ve been sick lately, epically in the mornings, and I made an appointment with Tsunade. I’m still not feeling quite well, but I think it’s just the flu.” I say remembering the awful taste in my mouth from earlier bathroom mishap. I was in there for about a half an hour just puking.

“Well I can’t say you haven’t been sick. When I came over the other day last week, I had to pull your hair back so you wouldn’t get it all messy while you…you know.” Sasuke said flakily gagging.

“Shut up teme!” I say mad that he was making fun of me.

“Well, do you want me to come with you?” He said starting to sound concerned.

“Nu-uh I’ll be fine really! Don’t worry about me, if anything really is wrong don’t you think I would tell you?”

“Knowing you Naruto, you wouldn’t even tell me if you were about to die.” Sasuke said saddened.

“No way Sasuke!” I start. “I would defiantly tell you that, if it wasn’t me telling you it would be Sakura or Tsunade for sure! But like I said, don’t worry, it’s just the flu.” I say trying to reassure him. “But hey Sasuke, I got to go, I’m going to be late now that I have been talking to you!” I say playfully serious.

“Well you better hurry up my Uke-dobe. Love you.”

“Love you t- Hey wait don’t call me that!” I hear Sasuke chuckle and then I hear the line disconnect. “Ugh, he thinks he is so funny.” I say as I grab my orange and black jacket off the coat racket, barely hanging on to my wall.

I walk out the door and shut it, and lock it. As I bolt to the Hokage’s Tower.
